Description
Chrysanthemum Bud Tea (Gong Ju) is made from small, tightly closed chrysanthemum buds grown in the Huangshan region of Anhui Province, China. Once reserved as a tribute tea for the imperial court, it's known for its bright, slightly bittersweet floral character.
The compact buds unfurl slowly as they steep, releasing a clean, refreshing cup with more bite than the larger white chrysanthemum varieties. Naturally caffeine-free, it's traditionally valued for its cooling quality.
